Web Designers

Successful designers get to work on all kinds of projects. Sometimes the larger projects can be the most profitable. However, if you are an individual or a small design shop, you can be under-estimating the ability to generate profits from sustained and consistent small, easy projects.

What's in it for me? (My favorite radio station "WIIFM")

Large Projects. As we all know, large projects are most likely the most profitable for most designers. However, if you have too many of them going on all at once, they can be hard to manage. BigTurns can help:

  • Program your design into xHTML & CSS
  • Integrate all the software and module needed to make your client's site functional and interactive
  • Manage your project through our project management software

Small Projects. Small projects, if accomplished quickly and effectively, can become a source of sustained cashflow. The hard part is meeting client expectations and selling value. BigTurns will provide the following benefits:

  1. Turn a PSD to a full functioning, live site in less than 10 days
  2. Include Website editing software, Email marketing, CRM database, and Analytics
  3. Provide training and support to your clients on demand
Recurring Revenue. When you bring a client onto the BigTurns platform we charge a license fee of $59 to $99 per month for the software and website hosting. Web design companies are entitled to their piece of the pie. Sign up to the partner program to learn more.

What's in it for BigTurns?

We have hundreds of integration projects under our belt and are always looking for more. When you decide to put your client onto the BigTurns platform you have the option of hiring us to help you with the integration.

Top 5 Questions

1. Can I get a deal on the software license & website hosting?
Yes, our Partner Programs allow for an industry fee to designers working with BigTurns. "Design Partners" are entitled to recurring revenue generated from the monthly license fee. And wow, can recurring revenues add up quickly!

2. Is BigTurns a competitor?
No, absolutely not. Design is a special skill which requires a significant degree of artistic talent. We are tech geeks who can have a hard time matching our shirt to our pants. We work with companies who specialize in design and page layout and help them with the integration and testing part. And as a bonus, when we have a client looking for design we always refer the business to our preferred partners.

3. I already have a programmer can I still use your Software & Website hosting?
Yes, of course. Our website platform is user friendly and your programmer can integrate your designs into the platform via FTP or through the admin panel like any simple website CMS. Also, there are user forums, an online wiki, and a help desk if they ever need help.

4. I use another web hosting company. Can I add the BigTurns CMS software to our servers?
BigTurns is a hosted service and is not available as a download, so you can't install it on other servers. Trust us - this is a good thing. Managing, configuring and maintaining servers is a hard work. Servers can be picky and have mood swings. Just ask our engineers - you don't want to carry around a machine that goes "BEEEP* at 3am in the morning, just because one of the servers feels like a fresh shrimp omelet.

5. I like the BigTurns solution and I want to White Label it under our brand. Do you white label?
Yes, The BigTurns partner program has a 4 options including "White Label". From the login screen, administration interface and Free Trial online business builder, all the way through to email notifications and system announcements – you can fully re-brand and resell BigTurns with your corporate brand front and center. Learning based on best practices.

Are you new to BigTurns and want to learn how the software works?  There’s nothing wrong with being new to BigTurns. In fact, we encourage new designers trying to find their way around the system to learn from experience. If you want a "first hand" experience we suggest starting with a simple, small brochure site and see how the platform can make it come alive. Free trials are available for 30 days.

I’m a professional web designer, but I’m new to BigTurns. You might have a lot of experience with web design and other content management systems, but when it comes to BigTurns CMS, you're a newbie. That’s OK. Short cut your learning curve and learn how our BigTurns Experts set up template websites. Contact BigTurns for a live demo.

Get your hands dirty. The best way to learn technology is to play with it, break it, reset it, re-engineer it, and test test test. There are certainly alternatives like reading books, blogs, starting from scratch, video tutorials and the like. All certainly helpful. But if you ask any true professional, the best way to learn is to get your hands dirty. So, get your hands dirty.
