In the year we have been with BigTurns we have gained considerable ground. Our visitors have grown month to month, our conversions have grown month to month, our sales have grown month to month despite the recent financial worries -- and much of this growth we attribute to the capabilities of their hosting service. Just as importantly our customer retention is becoming more and more obvious We have grown from a few hundred visitors per day or week to several thousand and growing. In time we are sure this number will exponentially grow as we make use of a number of features that we have yet to take full advantage of (ie. RSS channels and Blogs). Our two year plan out will include a series of informational features that will help to enhance the visitor and customer's experience of our brand. The day to day operation of our website of course is the fun part and where BigTurns truly shines. BigTurns is a powerful web 2.0 solution (or maybe even 3.0) while many other platforms are stuck back in web 1.0. We are saving approximately 10 hours a week that we used to have to spend on managing various customer-related spreadsheets and on setting up email campaigns with a non-integrated marketing solution. After experiencing BigTurns' "Live Feed" on the home page that shows what our customers and visitors have been up to on our site, we could never go back. Overall, the interface is simple, powerful, quick and intuitive. Being able to set customer-related SMS alerts on my mobile phone and easily integrate Google Apps for Your Domain to handle our email with multiple tutors has been very satisfying. In addition, I don't know html but I'm able to change text on the fly with BigTurns' "sitewalk" technology and so I don't have to wait for our web designer to correct typos or feature a new promotion. Speaking of promotions, we love the ease with which we can create promo codes and put our products on sale for a specific period of time. The fact that I can do all of this for $99/month--and that this includes very reliable and speedy web hosting--is an excellent deal. I truly wouldn't be surprised if Google buys BigTurns. Not a bad idea! |

One of the most critical differences to us has been the level of support provided by the Technical Team at BigTurns. Across time, they have answered every question or concern that we had, and at times there were many. They have even implemented a few of our suggestions for improvements to the system which benefited all users but were especially helpful to meeting our requirements at the time. This level of support has allowed us to focus on branding online through advertising, linking and keyword dominance. etc. Some specific differences between the software we used and BigTurns' ever enhanced system have been presentation capability; detailed reporting of visitors, abandon rates, sales, geographic locations of potential and realized customers; customize marketing campaigns and promotions, and a host of other functions that were either not available reviously or were not fully developed. The positive shopping experience we wanted to create has been accomplished. I hope that as we grow and find need for more in depth drilling on some reporting they will respond as timely. |
